剧情简介

Beverly Lynn Smith was a 22-year-old mother with a 10-month-old daughter when she was shot dead in her kitchen in 1974. Despite an extensive police investigation and widespread media coverage, the case went cold. More than 30 years later, a tip came in, kickstarting a new investigation into Alan Dale Smith (no relation), who lived across the street from the victim at the time. He became the centrepiece of an elaborate police sting of theatrical proportions. The ruse that ensnared Smith offers a riveting true crime narrative and provides incredible insight into how this case unfolded and the real lives devastated in the process.
